BRADENTON — First Titan Corp., a vehicle accessory designer and manufacturer, appointed Robert Federowicz as its new CEO this week.

Federowicz is the former CEO of Sarasota-based Obscene Jeans Corp., but was replaced at the head of that company by lead designer Rachel Stark-Cappelli earlier this month.

First Titan says it will leverage Federowicz's international experience to expand its global presence. As a project manager with Hart Associates Inc. in the 1990s, Federowicz helped the Polish government privatize and modernize several coal-fired power plants. In 1999, he served as chief information officer when Hart merged with U.K.-based Commonwealth Development Corp., a statement says.

Headquartered in Bradenton, First Titan builds instrument panels and wiring harnesses for heavy-duty, marine and industrial vehicle suppliers.
