NAPLES — Narrative Coffee Roasters, up until now an online wholesale coffee business, recently opened its first ever brick-and-mortar location.

The new store is in the Mercato shopping center in Naples, in the 1,301-square-foot former Second Cup space on Mercato’s main piazza that closed in 2019, according to a statement. The new Narrative Coffee Roasters will operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and will extend those hours as COVID-19 restrictions continue to be eased, the release adds.

Narrative Coffee Roasters will accept payment via credit or debit cards only, and no cash payments, the release states. For contactless service, guests are encouraged to place and pay for their orders online via the Narrative Coffee Roasters app available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play. Orders will be waiting for them at the end of the coffee bar.

“We’re incredibly proud that Narrative Coffee Roasters has selected Mercato as its first brick-and-mortar coffee house location,” Mercato Senior Marketing Director Valerie Cope says in the release.

Cape Coral-based Narrative Coffee Roasters will serve a variety of coffees, including espresso-based favorites and drip coffees, teas, hot cocoa, pastries, salads and sandwiches. Its signature line of wholesale coffees will also be available for sale.
