TAMPA -- OneTouch Direct will hire 700 new employees for two of its offices in the Tampa area.
Tampa-based OneTouch Direct offers customer acquisition, retention and support services to telecommunications companies. A grant of undisclosed size from Workforce Florida will help expand its employee headcount from 1,300 to 2,000, a company release says, with funds being used to help pay for employee training.
The company will also expand the square footage of its headquarters and call center operations base on Sligh Avenue, from 28,000 to 53,000 square feet, as part of a newly signed lease extension.
Joseph Mole is president of OneTouch Direct. The company began doing business in Tampa in 1998, opening its doors with one client, and five employees at the time.
