BRADENTON — Manatee Glens, one of the largest mental health and addition treatment facilities on the Gulf Coast, has promoted five officials on its administrative management team.
The Bradenton-based nonprofit, which treats more than 150,000 adults and children a year, also announced that chief operating officer Deborah Kostroun has retired after 22 years with the organization.
“Manatee Glens is growing to meet the community behavioral health hospital needs of our region,” Manatee Glens President and CEO Mary Ruiz says in a release. “This management team positions us to support our future growth. I am grateful for the mentorship Deborah provided them to prepare them for this transition.”
The new leadership team includes Melissa Larkin-Skinner, who was promoted to chief clinical officer; Heidi Blair who was promoted to chief administrative officer. Roger Johnson, now in a senior vice president charge of medical services; Melanie Teves Bell, now in charge of clinical services; and Shawny Robey who was promoted to vice president of business development.
Manatee Glens recently expanded its hospital detox and addictions residential treatment services to include specialty programs for Medicare and Tricare insured. The organization is also expanding its private medical practices located on State Road 64 East in Bradenton and Sawyer Road in Sarasota. The organization had $27.3 million in revenues in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, against $28.1 million in expenses.
