PLANS, DESCRIPTION: TPG Capital has transferred two Tampa Ashland Distribution properties to Nexeo Solutions LLC for $3.3 million. The properties include a 52,000-square-foot distribution facility on 4.8 acres and an adjacent vacant 7.15-acre lot.
TPG Capital's Nexeo Solutions LLC affiliate purchased Ashland Distribution in March from Ashland Inc. for $979 million.
The 4.8-acre property is used for the distribution and packaging of Nexeo Solutions' chemicals, plastics and composites business lines. The company has no immediate plans for the vacant parcel.
The company distributes chemicals, plastics, composites and provides environmental services. It employs 2,000 people in North America, Europe and Asia.
