i Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc. announced the retirement of Clive Morris at yearis end. Morris worked as the vice president of agriculture for Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc.

Awards

i Florida Recreation and Park Association presented the 2004 Lifetime Award to Walter Rothenbach Jr. at the 2004 State Conference. Rothenbach began his career as a recreation supervisor in 1963 and advanced in 1966 to director of the Sarasota County Parks and Recreation Department. In 2003 Rothenbach retired from Sarasota County Government as deputy county administrator.

Banks

i Liberty Savings Bank hired Barbara Cole as service manager of the bankis Shamrock financial center. Cole previously worked for National Bank of Geneve in Victor, N.Y.

i SunTrust Banks Inc. announced new leadership roles for its executives. New moves include: George Koehn, chairman, president and CEO of SunTrustis Florida Banking Group will retire on June 30, 2005. Koehn will be succeeded by Thomas Kuntz who is chairman, president and CEO of SunTrust Bank, South Florida.

Thomas Yochum, chairman, president and CEO of Orlando-based SunTrust Bank, Central Florida, will retire at yearis end. He will be succeeded by SunTrust Bank, Southwest Florida Chairman, President and CEO Ray Sandhagen.

James Rasmussen, executive vice president and retail banking business manager for SunTrust in South Florida, has been named chairman, president and CEO of SunTrust Bank, South Florida.

Margaret Callihan, chairman, president and CEO of SunTrust Bank, Chattanooga, will assume the role of chairman, president and CEO of SunTrust Bank, Southwest Florida on Jan. 1.

i KCC Estimating and Construction Services Inc. announced that Jesse Hostetler, Walter Weiler, Mark Thibodeau, Richard June, Orlando Priede, Pamela Meaige and Donald Bamford all earned their state contractoris license.

i Willis A. Smith Construction Inc. hired David Sessions as a project manager.
