Board of Directors

i The Downtown Partnership of Sarasota appointed two new board directors, as well as a manager of the Downtown Farmersi Market. Charles D. Bailey III, an attorney with Williams Parker Harrison Dietz & Getzen, and Sam D. Norton, a shareholder with Norton, Hammersley, Lopez and Skokos, who practices in the areas of real estate, banking, corporate and business transactions, were named to the board. John E. Matthews was named manager of the Farmersi Market.

i The Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce appointed five members to its board of directors. Elected to serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, are Diana Corrigan, executive director, St. Armandis Circle Association; Dr. Tom Davenport, Institute of Workforce Development Services, Manatee Community College; Julius Halas, fire chief of Longboat Key; Chuck Neubauer, Neubaueris Gulfcoast Studio; and Lisa Walsh, associate publisher/executive editor of the Longboat Observer.

Contract Management

i Kellogg & Kimsey Inc. hired Brennan Deittrick as an estimator. Deittrick previously worked for a general contractor as a superintendent and estimator.

i Kellogg & Kimsey Inc. hired Brent Bobo as vice president of business development. Bobo previously directed the marketing and sales efforts for Marsh/Bell Construction in South Carolina.

Real Estate

i Betsy de Manio, a sales associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Inc.is Siesta Key office, recently earned the Certified Home Marketing Specialist designation.
