People

Architecture

• The ADP Group, a Sarasota-based architecture, interior design, and planning firm, hired Muriel Redifer, AIA, as an architect. Redifer previously owned her own architecture firm Muriel Redifer Architect in Washington, D.C. Redifer will be working on renovations for the Kelly Hall Youth Center for Coastal Behavioral Health.

Banks

• SunCoast Bank promoted Kerry J. Ward as Manatee County area president. Kerry will head the Manatee operations center of SunCoast. Ward previously worked as vice president of commercial lending with SouthTrust Bank.

Board of Directors

• Bay Village of Sarasota announced the election of Robert C. Tripp to its board of directors. Now retired, Tripp was system manager of purchasing and inventory management with Eastern Airlines.

• SunCoast Bank announced the election of Gary Bogart and Jack Cox to its board of directors. Bogart is the owner and operator of Jakes Automotive in Bradenton. Cox is president of Halfacre Construction.

Construction

• Zirkelbach Construction named Paul S. Klick III as executive vice president for sales, marketing and finance; and Matt Kezar as vice president of business development. Klick is in charge of sales and marketing and also works on the financing needs of clients. He previously was a principal/partner of The Wyndam Group. Kezar will handle business development, which includes selling construction services as well as developing real property. He was previously president of Rabco Construction and the owner of MBK Real Estate Services Inc.

Health Care

• Lynne Callahan, marketing director at Manatee Diagnostic Center, was appointed to the Ambulatory Care Advisory Council for the joint Commission on Health Care Organizations. She represents both Manatee Diagnostic Center and Medical Imaging Services.

Real Estate

• RoseBay Real Estate hired Lynn Parker as managing partner. Parker previously worked for Wagner Realty as vice president and general manager. Parker will be responsible for RoseBay's Manatee County operations.

Mortgage Brokers

• Penny Hill, of Chase Home Finance's Sarasota office, was honored at the Chase Leaders Club Award ceremony for being the No. 1 purchase volume producer nationwide for 2004. This is the sixth consecutive year Hill, while with Chase Home Finance, has received a Chase Leaders Club Award. Hill also ranked as the No. 1 loan officer for customer service in the nation.

• Michael Saunders & Co. hired Diane Modrcin to its MS&C Mortgage department as a home mortgage consultant in the Bradenton office. Modrcin previously worked for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in St. Petersburg as a private mortgage banker.
