Accounting
• CPA Associates of Bradenton and Sarasota promoted Joseph Chapman, Sarah Chase and Peter Lear to supervisors. All three previously worked as senior accountants.
• Kerkering, Barberio & Co. PA promoted Connie Rossi, a certified public accountant, from supervisor to manager. Nihad Jarallah has been promoted from in-charge to senior. Erin Canniff and Jennifer Waverka have been promoted from staff to in-charge. Belinda Holmes, CPC/CCP, has been promoted from medical consultant to senior medical consultant, and Danielle Roca, a certified public accountant, has been promoted from senior to supervisor.

• The board of directors of New Gate School announced two new appointments: Susan T. Danis, executive director of Sarasota Opera, and Barry S. Tuchfeld, Ph.D., consultant and educator, have each recently begun a three-year term.

• WilsonMiller Inc. hired Francisco B. Frank Domingo, PE, as senior project manager in the Sarasota office. Domingo previously served as Sarasota County engineer and general manager for mobility with the Public Works Department.

• KSC Advertising and Public Relations announced that Jessica Hays, an assistant account executive, recently earned an Accreditation in Public Relations, designated by the letters APR.

• The Roskamp Institute hired Dr. Kimberly Monnell to join the clinical research investigators.

• Professional Benefits Inc. of Sarasota announced that Mary Ann Pickering earned Florida's Variable Annuity and Health Insurance Agent's 2-15 license. Pickering is the group benefits agent.
• Bouchard Insurance hired Mark Pichowski, a certified public accountant, as a surety specialist in the Construction Division. Pichowski previously worked for the Tampa accounting firm of Pender, Newkirk & Co. CPA.

• Kirk-Pinkerton announced its officials for 2005. They are Mark P. Barnebey, president and CEO; John W. West III, treasurer and CFO; William E. Robertson Jr., vice president of administration and COO; and David W. Payne as secretary.
Media
• CurtCo Media appointed Jeff Lawenda as group publisher of Sarasota Magazine. Lawenda previously worked as associate publisher of SRQ Magazine.

• Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Inc announced that eight of the firm's top sales associates in the Sarasota Bay Region have been named members of the Coldwell Banker International President's Premier Award. They are Judy Aarnes, Lakewood Ranch; Beth Barnett, Lakewood Ranch; Betsy DeManio, Siesta Key; Mark Huber, Longboat Key; Lynne Koy, Longboat Key; Bruce Myer, Longboat Key; Roger Pettingell, Longboat Key; Lueanne Wood, Venice.
• University Park announced that Linda Harrington was awarded the "Most Sales for the Year 2004." Harrington is a sales associate with University Park.
• Kirk-Pinkerton shareholder Julie A Horstkamp was named chair of the Sarasota Realtor Attorney Joint Committee of the Sarasota Association of Realtors Inc./Sarasota County Bar Association Inc.
• Michael Saunders & Co. announced that Annette Rogers and Michael Moulton of the Longboat Key South office were the top producing team of 2004.
