NAPLES — Cyndee Woolley, owner of C2 Communications, was named winner of the 2018 Naples Chamber Chairman’s Award for her continued support of the Chamber and its youth outreach programs. Woolley was presented the award at the chamber’s annual meeting on May 17 at The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples.

The winner is selected by the Chairman of the Naples Chamber Board of Directors in consultation with the President and CEO. Woolley was honored for her 16 years leadership with Farm City BBQ of Collier County, and the impact it has had on the community. Prior to Woolley’s involvement, attendance for Farm City BBQ was a few hundred people. She worked to establish Farm City as an independent non-profit organization and to build community support to grow the annual event.

“As the Chamber continues to expand their work and outreach with youth in Collier County, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a beneficiary of this work that Cyndee leads,” says Dan Lavender, the 2017-18 chairman of the Naples Chamber board of directors.

Farm City BBQ now attracts nearly 3,000 and has raised more than $600,000 for youth organizations aimed at building the next generation of community leaders. In 2017, Leadership Collier Foundation’s Youth Leadership Collier program received more than $18,000 in event proceeds. This year, Woolley is working with Sunshine Ace Hardware to launch the first Big Green Egg Festival on June 2, which will further benefit Farm City Charities.

“Through the years, the Chamber has given me access to so many great mentors, colleagues, and friends. It is an honor to give back and support an organization that has provided me so much,” says Woolley.
