Mr. Shower Door, the Naples-based bathroom remodeling business, won the Family-Owned Small Business of the Year award for the South Florida District from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Brothers Keith and Douglas Daubmann will receive the award, which recognizes their family's achievements in maintaining a successful business for two generations.
The company was featured in a 2006 issue of the Gulf Coast Business Review, in an article written by Lee-Collier Editor Jean Gruss (link). The article features a timely sidebar, titled, “How to survive an economic downturn,” based on the advice of owner Bill Daubmann.
