Minnesota Life Insurance Co. has opened an additional office in Florida, according to a company release. The Fort Myers office is the company's second, complimenting the existing operation in Tallahassee.
The company's expansion is driven by recent steady growth within the state of Florida, according to a release.
The company has enjoyed significant growth at a national level, as well. Minnesota Life provided more than $536 billion in coverage to its customers in 2009, up from $66 billion in 1991. Sales were up 15% in a year over year comparison.
