LAKEWOOD RANCH — A Michigan-based commercial insurance and surety bonding firm has expanded to Florida.
The firm, Troy, Mich.-based Guy, Hurley, Blaser & Heuer, opened Guy Hurley of Florida in an office in a Lakewood Ranch corporate park, according to a release. It's the second location for the firm.
The lead executives at Guy Hurley of Florida are Tony Papa, Tina Papa and Jamie Wood. All the executives have spent their entire careers in Florida in risk management, insurance and surety bonding. A surety bond protects a client against the failure of a principal to fulfill obligations in certain contracts. Industries the executives have concentrated on include construction, real estate, manufacturing and retail.
“Sarasota is proving to be the perfect community for Guy Hurley,” GHBH President Paul Hurley says in a release. “We know that Tony, Tina, Jamie and the entire staff will not only represent Guy Hurley well, they will continue to represent their clients very well.”
Industries Guy Hurley of Florida will focus on include construction, real estate, manufacturing, technology and nonprofits.
