CAPTIVA ISLAND — ‘Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa has hired Michele Berger as its new general manager. Berger will oversee operations at the historic resort on Captiva Island, with an emphasis on staff management and guest satisfaction.

According to a press release, Berger brings more than 20 years of retail and hospitality experience to the role, including a stint as front desk manager at ‘Tween Waters. For 17 years, she managed an Ulta cosmetics and beauty supply store that generated more than $10 million in annual sales.

“As soon as I stepped foot on the property I fell in love,” Berger states in the release. “My goal as general manager of ‘Tween Waters is to bring that passion to my work and instill it in the people I manage.”

‘Tween Waters, located on 13 acres on Captiva Island, boasts 137 units, including cottages and suites, as well as a marina, tennis and fitness facilities, a banquet center and two restaurants.
