LAND O'LAKES - The Southeast Building Conference named Bexley by Newland Communities the top master-planned community in the Southeast, awarding the community its highest honor, a Grand Aurora Award.

The Bexley Club, the community's hub, also earned a Grand Aurora Award for best recreational facility, according to a statement. Award winners were selected from entries representing industry professionals in 12 Southeastern states and the Eastern Caribbean, and were announced recently at the annual Southeast Building Conference in Orlando.

Bexley opened in November 2016, and offers a variety of home styles ranging from low-maintenance townhomes, villas, and courtyard homes to single-family and luxury homes.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by the Southeast Building Conference,” Newland Communities vice president Pam Parisi says in the release. “Bexley is the result of years of planning and research, and it's rewarding to see so many families choosing to make their home here.”

Bexley is owned in a joint venture partnership between North America Sekisui House LLC, the U.S. business unit and full subsidiary of Sekisui House Ltd., Japan's largest homebuilder and leading diversified developer, and Newland Real Estate Group LLC. Newland also developed FishHawk Ranch.
