Local wealth management firm fills two positions

The firm says both will be strong assets to the team

VENICE — FourThought Private Wealth, headquartered in Venice, recently added Alex Herrington as planner and Matt Macek as client relationship manager to the team. 

The wealth management firm, formerly Pinkerton Private Wealth, focuses on customized and comprehensive wealth planning and advice for individuals, families, foundations, and businesses under three separate brands: FourThought Private Wealth, FourThought Signature and FourThought Institutions, according to a press release.

“We’re thrilled that Alex and Matt will be joining the FourThought family,” says Scott Pinkerton, senior planner and managing partner at FourThought. “I know they’re going to be strong assets to the firm.”

At FourThought, Herrington will be responsible for managing client investment portfolios, planning and more. Herrington has experience as a financial representative, relationship manager, and investment and financial consultant. 

Macek will assist FourThought clients with account transactions and serve as a contact for account-related questions. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services field, including positions in accounting, consulting, products, and trading.
