SARASOTA — JCI Jones Chemicals, one of the country's largest manufacturers and distributors of chlorine-related chemicals used to treat drinking water, has reopened its London office.

The fourth-generation family-run firm, founded in 1930, has been growing rapidly overseas. “JCI's continued positive growth in international markets necessitated this initiative,” Director of International Marketing Frank Levin says in a release. “JCI's sales from international water treatment chemicals have eclipsed 12% of the company's total revenue.”

JCI Jones has 11 facilities in the U.S that serve water and wastewater purification customers. Its client base includes multiple municipal water authorities. JCI Jones also provides chemicals and services to pharmaceutical firms, the food and beverage industry, paper products companies and auto manufacturers, among other industries.
