TAMPA — As regional economic development groups work to get the most out of having the Republican National Convention in their backyard, they are lining up local businesses to help showcase all the area has to offer.

Front Row Tampa Bay, a live webcast coordinated by the Tampa Bay Partnership, will feature several roundtables and discussions about business and industry in the region during its coverage of the RNC.

Several businesses and organizations from Sarasota County will be featured during the four-day broadcast, including: Sun Hydraulics, PGT Industries, the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, the Kauffman Foundation + Urban Entrepreneur Partnership, Tervis, Mote, Illum Productions, Ringling College of Art and Design and Lucid Global.

“Economic development groups from around the region have joined forces to brand and market our region through Front Row Tampa Bay,” says Teri Hansen, president and CEO of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, in a release. “This highly visible effort will send the message to leaders across the nation and the world that the communities of Tampa Bay — including Sarasota County — offer unparalleled business opportunities and quality of life.”

In addition to the live broadcast on its website, Front Row Tampa Bay also features economic development information, including data on health care, technology, airports and more.
