Group to launch new healthy dining restaurant

Lemon Tree Kitchen will open in Sarasota on March 19.

SARASOTA — Tableseide Restaurant Group announced it will open a new casual, full-service restaurant concept called Lemon Tree Kitchen.

Lemon Tree Kitchen will open March 19, according to a press release. The restaurant will focus on fresh, local ingredients and clean eating. Dishes will also have the flexibility to meet dietary restrictions or choices, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free eating.

Lemon Tree Kitchen will open in the space occupied by the group’s Louie’s Modern restaurant at 1289 N. Palm Ave. in downtown Sarasota. Louie’s Modern will close after brunch service on March 10 to accommodate the internal and external rebranding to Lemon Tree Kitchen.

Joe Seidensticker, CEO of Tableseide Restaurant Group, says planning the group's next concept with executives coincided with staff and executives changing their eating habits. "The Tableseide team realized there were only a few healthy dining options in Sarasota and none were priced with value in mind without losing quality," the release says.

After searching for locations in Sarasota, executives decided to open the new concept at the existing North Palm Avenue location. The restaurant will open after a seven-day changeover period.

Lemon Tree Kitchen will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with an a la carte brunch menu on Sundays.

"Lemon Tree Kitchen is right on trend with what’s happening in the culinary world,” says Seidensticker in the statement. “Diners are craving to eat out and enjoy meals that are not only delicious but good for them. Sarasota has so many locals and visitors who are passionate about their healthy lifestyle.”
