Fowler White attorneys

appointed to Florida Bar

Cathy Beveridge, a shareholder in the Tampa office of Fowler White Boggs Banker, was elected chair of the Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section. Beveridge is the group leader for the firm's employment litigation section.

Mitchell Horowitz, a shareholder and the firm's tax practice group leader, was elected chair-elect of the Bar's Tax Section for 2004-2005. He will serve as chair from 2005-2006.

The firm also announced that 2003 marks 60 years since Cody Fowler and Morris White became law partners.

Williams Schifino Mangione

names new firm president

William J. Schifino Jr. was elected managing director and president of the Tampa firm of Williams Schifino Mangione & Steady PA. Schifino concentrates his practice in the areas of securities litigation and arbitration, business tort litigation, personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Florida Bar appoints Eagan to grievance committee

Jaime B. Eagan with the law firm of Abbey, Adams, Byelick, Kiernan, Mueller & Lancaster LLP was appointed to serve as a member of the 6th Circuit Grievance Committee "C" by the Florida Bar. Her term expires October 2006.
