FORT MYERS — Lee County land planners are seeking input into the future land-use maps in the broadest update since the mid-1980s.
Planners are in the final stage of revising Lee County's comprehensive land-use plan and have public meetings scheduled in April and May.
On April 22, the Local Planning Agency will review the land use maps at a public meeting before the agency submits drafts of the updates to the county commissioners. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the county commission's chambers, 2120 Main St., Fort Myers.
Details of the updates to the land-use plan are posted here.
People who cannot attend this and other public meetings related to the updates can comment here.
