BONITA SPRINGS — Land surveying firm Dagostino & Wood recently announced a new name and rebranding, and is now Dagostino Geospatial.

David Dagostino, who co-founded the firm in 1998 with business partner Mark Wood, will remain at the helm of the company, according to a statement. The firm was founded in Naples and moved to office space in Bonita Springs in early 2019. Both founders hold degrees in surveying and mapping from the University of Florida.

“I met Mark in 1989 when he was doing his summer co-op and was put on my survey crew,” Dagostino says in the statement. “He convinced me to join him at UF to get my degree. About nine years later, our paths crossed again and one day, while out collecting data in a cow field, we began brainstorming about our futures and made the decision to go into business together. We have never looked back.”

Dagostino Geospatial provides land surveying and geospatial data services to a wide range of clients in the public, municipal, government, and private sectors.

“As we grow into our third decade in business, our company continues to evolve in concert with technological advances in the collection, manipulation, and display of geospatial data,” Dagostino says in the release. “Our updated company name, Dagostino Geospatial, and new brand identity represent our progress thus far and our commitment to future evolution in the burgeoning geospatial industry.”
