Law firm names hurricane claims specialist as partner

Kurtis Keefer joins Goede, Adamczyk, DeBoest & Cross to represent victims of Hurricane Irma.

NAPLES — A Southwest Florida law firm has hired a partner to spearhead lingering property insurance claims as a result of damage caused by Hurricane Irma. Kurtis Keefer has joined the firm of Goede, Adamczyk, DeBoest & Cross, bringing the experience of representing property owners in claims resulting from multiple hurricanes and other property damage disasters.

Keefer as handled multiple hurricane claims including those from hurricanes Charley (2004), Frances (2004), Ivan (2004), Jeanne (2004), Dennis (2005), Katrina (2005), Wilma (2005) and Matthew (2016).  Additionally, he has handled claims resulting from a variety of other covered losses including plumbing leaks, water leaks, fire, smoke, mold, vandalism, theft, collapse and others.

Keefer comes to the Naples-based firm from the Pensacola area, where for the previous 10 years he engaged in private practice. Founded in 2013, Goede, Adamczyk, DeBoest & Cross also has offices in Fort Myers, Coral Gables and Boca Raton.
