TAMPA -- The Tampa Bay Technology Forum named Heather Kenyon as its new CEO this week. She will take over as the group's chief executive on Nov. 14, a release explains.

Kenyon rejoins the organization with this latest appointment after having left the Forum in 2008. She had served as the Forum's vice president of development for five years prior to her departure. Before rejoining the Forum, Kenyon worked as a sales development representative for Insight, an Arizona-based company with nearly $5 billion in 2010 revenues.

Kenyon replaces Amy Norman, who resigned from her position as the Forum's chief executive at the end of September to pursue other business opportunities.

In conjunction with Kenyon's appointment, the Tampa Bay Technology Forum identified its slate of officers for 2012: Steve Hasselbach, senior solutions architect with Peak 10, has been elected chairman of the board; Kathy Killingsworth, managing director, of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) at Tribridge, will serve as vice chair; Charlotte Baker, CEO of Digital Hands, is treasurer; and Dan Rodriguez, CEO of Veredus Corporation, is secretary.
