SARASOTA — Tampa-based Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery has opened a new location in Sarasota, its eighth neighborhood pub. The location, after a soft opening, officially opens Aug. 26, according to a statement.

Directly across the street from Westfield Siesta Key, the Sarasota location is 3,000 square feet, with wall-to-wall televisions, wood accents, a chef-inspired menu and a pup- friendly outdoor patio. The company’s concept, in addition to upscale yet casual, according to the statement, is "where urban amenities meet small-town living.”

Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery’s flagship location opened in Hyde Park Village in September 2011. A location in Westchase followed in 2013 and Westshore in 2016.  The opening of Wiregrass in 2017 kicked off an aggressive growth phase for the brand, which now has additional locations in Seminole and Clearwater Beach, plus Sarasota and space on the Chase Club level in Amalie Arena. Permitting and construction are underway for locations in Oviedo, Gainesville and Lakewood Ranch, the release states.
