IMG Academies, a Bradenton-based athletic training facility known for catering to high-profile athletes, will hire 65 additional employees over the next three years.

The decision to hire is motivated in part by incentives provided by Manatee County. The county has offered $65,000 over the next five years to attract the new jobs, according to a release from the Manatee Economic Development Council.

The incentives will be paid out as jobs are added, and those jobs must meet or exceed an annual average wage of $38,619, representing 115% of Manatee County's average wage.

The release also stated that IMG plans to build a 50,000-square-foot dormitory facility in 2012, and will invest $25 million into its campus over the next five years.
