TAMPA -- Accusoft Pegasus, an imaging software development company, acquired Santa Clara, Calif.-based Adeptol this week. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Accusoft Pegasus generated $19.4 million in revenues from its document imaging products in 2010, up 52% from its 2007 revenues, which were $12.8 million. The growth earned Accusoft Pegasus a spot on the Inc. 5000 list this year.
The acquisition of Adeptol allows Accusoft Pegasus to expand its imaging offerings, for Adeptol supports document viewing for more than 300 electronic file types.
"Accusoft Pegasus is committed to the expansion and diversification of our product portfolio," said Jack Berlin, president of Accusoft Pegasus.
Headquartered in Tampa, Accusoft Pegasus is the product of a 2009 merger between Pegasus Imaging, a Tampa firm founded in 1991, and Accusoft, a Massachusetts-based company.
