FORT MYERS — The 225-room Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops has completed a $6 million renovation project.

The project included an extensive renovation of its guest rooms and corridors, according to a statement. Rooms now have a contemporary, Southwest Florida-style of décor including all new furnishings, mattresses, carpeting, wall covering and lighting fixtures with energy efficient LED bulbs. The refreshed lower level floor rooms feature new 42” high-definition TVs, while the club level rooms have 55” screen high-definition TVs.

“We are confident that our guests will be pleased with our newly redesigned guest rooms,” says Jim Larkin, general manager of the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower Shops, in the statement. “Our goal was to create more comfortable, welcoming accommodations to help ensure that our guests feel at home during their stay with us.”

All guest room bathrooms were totally reconstructed and now offer new walk-in showers and upgraded lighting and the latest fixtures, along with new “barn door” entryways creating a more spacious feel, the release states. The hotel’s corridors were also remodeled, with stylish new carpet, wall covering, window treatments and lighting.

Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops is located adjacent to the Bell Tower Shops with over 50 boutiques, shops and restaurants and a 20-screen movie theater.
