CLEARWATER — Hooters Management Corp., which operates 24 Hoots and Hooters restaurants in Tampa Bay, Manhattan and the Chicago area, has promoted Bill Moore to COO.
Moore, according to a press release, is a St. Petersburg native who joined the Clearwater-based company in 1992 as an assistant manager. Prior to becoming COO, he served as vice president of operations for the company’s Florida region.
“I look forward to the future and appreciate being a part of this company for 28 years,” Moore states in the release. “After being in business for 36 years, we continue to grow and thrive with new opportunities each year.”
Hooters Management Corp. will open several more Hoots and Hooters in the coming weeks and months, the release states. It will open its first Florida Hoots location at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg this month, while a Hooters in the Suncoast Crossing area of Pasco County is planned to debut in the summer.
