PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Homebuilder D.R. Horton Inc. purchased 21 home lots in the Willow Chase subdivision for $1.05 million. The price equated to $50,000 per lot.
The community, originally developed by Lee Wetherington Homes, already contains more than 40 single-family homes.
“It's five miles from the beach in a gated, well-maintained community,” says Ruth Brown a sales consultant for D.R. Horton. “I believe there are a total of 90 lots still to be built out there, and we have right of first refusal on the rest.” Homes in the development will start at $225,000.
