NAPLES — Diamond Custom Homes named 30-year construction industry veteran Chris Batchelor vice president of operations.

Batchelor, who previously owned his own construction company and has also worked with national homebuilders and developers, will oversee all of Diamond Custom Homes’ construction operations, according to a statement. That includes new construction, remodeling, warranty service, estate management and its cabinetry division, with accountability for each division’s customer satisfaction and profit and loss. He will provide leadership and management of the construction staff; manage execution of Diamond Custom Homes’ strategic vision and goals; develop and enforce policies and procedures; and serve as a mentor, the release adds.

“Chris’ extensive range of construction experience, both in the corporate arena and as an entrepreneur, makes him a great fit for our company,” says Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond in the release. “He will be a valuable asset to our teams and our continued growth.”

Batchelor is a state-certified general contractor in Florida and Tennessee, and, in addition to construction, has worked in the oil and gas industry.
