NAPLES — HealthLynked Corp. has added Robert Mino to its board of directors.

HealthLynked is a Naples-based national health care network focused on care management of its members and a provider of health care technologies that connects doctors, patients and medical data.

Mino is a registered patent attorney and a member of the Florida Bar, according to a press release. He has commercial, operations and legal experience.

Mino has served as general counsel of testing laboratory Applied Food Technologies, general manager at medical device company Somahlution and corporate counsel and vice president of business development at pharmaceutical and dietary supplement company Sancilio Pharmaceuticals, the release adds.

He began his career conducting molecular biology research before holding several positions of increasing responsibility at Sigma Aldrich, Roche Diagnostics and Applied Biosystems, the release states. He started in field sales and culminated as the strategic marketing manager of North and South America for DNA sequencing.

In 2011, Mino opened a law and consulting practice where he practices today. He also serves as the vice president of life sciences for the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

"His unique background in health care, sales and intellectual property will be of great value to the board as we continue to develop our platform and improve all aspects of care management for our patient members," says HealthLynked Chairman and CEO Dr. Michael Dent in the statement.
