FORT MYERS — Lee Health named industry veteran Jeffrey Pigott vice president of compliance and internal auditing. He will oversee regulatory and auditing operations for the health care system, bringing more than 20 years of audit, compliance, financial and accounting experience for large organizations, including health care.
“We’re thrilled to bring Jeffrey on board. He brings extensive compliance experience with large organizations and an excellent history of driving performance and accountability within those companies,” says Lee Health President and CEO Larry Antonucci in a statement.
Pigott most recently served as the corporate compliance officer and director of internal audit for Huntsville Hospital Health System in Huntsville, Ala. Previously, Pigott was audit director at CHAN Healthcare Auditors for clients based in Cincinnati and Knoxville, Tenn. The company provides internal audit services to nonprofit health care organizations and audits more than 20 health care networks at nearly 400 hospitals.
