FORT MYERS — Chico’s FAS Senior Vice President Lori Shaffer has been named a new board member to Hope Healthcare by the organization’s board of directors. Shaffer, a Fort Myers resident, also serves on Chico’s corporate giving board. Hope Healthcare board members serve three-year terms.

“Lori’s expertise is a great complement to our board,” says Hope Healthcare President and CEO Samira Beckwith in a statement. “We welcome her insights as we remain dedicated to serving the most vulnerable in our community despite decreasing reimbursement and increasing needs.”

Hope Healthcare is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) community-based agency that offers programs for end-of-life care, in-home care, elder care and meals and support for seniors in Hendy and Glade counties. Pediatric programs include hospice and palliative care, home health, private duty perinatal care and counseling.

Shaffer joined Chico’s FAS in 1998 and has held numerous leadership roles including director of merchandising and vice president controller. In 2008, she assumed responsibility for driving the growth of the Chico’s outlet division.
