Health care group names new officers

New chairman Charles Idelson joins Hope Healthcare slate of officers.

FORT MYERS — Led by President and CEO Samira Beckwith, the Hope Healthcare board named new officers for the upcoming term. Charles Idelson will serve as chairman, joining Vice Chairman West McCann, Secretary Sandy Youngquist and Treasurer Jerry Nichols, according to a statement. 

Idelson is principal founder of Investors’ Security Trust Company; McCann is president of The Naples Trust Co.;, Stilwell Youngquist is owner and CEO of Stilwell Enterprises and Restaurant Group; and Nichols is a specialist for employee benefits planning with Brown & Brown Benefits.

Hope Healthcare board members include past chairman Bo Turbeville, vice president of Accent Business Products; Lori Shaffer, senior vice president of Chico’s FAS; Noreen DiPlacido, a Florida licensed health care risk manager; Joe Gammons, principal at Office Furniture & Design Concepts; Tom Giles, founder, president and CEO of Avalon Engineering; Tim Halverson, pastor and head of staff at Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral; Lee County Tax Collector Larry Hart; and Trudi Williams, CEO of TKW Consulting.

Board members serve three-year terms to advance Hope Healthcare’s mission of providing specialized care for all people with complex needs related to life-changing illness.
