SARASOTA — Medical Resource Association Inc. recently leased 5,000 square feet at 1549 State St. in downtown Sarasota, where it will relocate its corporate headquarters.

The business, a health care management firm, moved from an approximately 1,800-square-foot space at 624 S. Palm Ave. in Sarasota.

Owner Kristen Beury says the move will help the business do more health and wellness workshops for physicians and other health care providers it serves. Although the company currently holds workshops, Beury says the new space will allow it to host them at the company's headquarters. “Obviously we're excited with the opportunity to promote our space and our business,” Beury said.

Beury said the space, previously occupied by Danish furniture retailer dkVogue, is undergoing renovations. She said she expects the space to be open by June 1.

Ken Hoskinson Jr. with Hembree & Associates Inc. facilitated the lease.
