PINELLAS PARK — The National University of Healthcare Sciences recently announced it will build a $1.9 million integrative health care clinic in Pinellas Park.

The 7,000-square-foot clinic is expanding four blocks away from its main academic facilities. Vice President of Business Services Ron Mensching says the expansion will offer comprehensive chiropractic care and integrative medical services to Tampa Bay. “It will also provide a dynamic new clinical internship option for students in the university's doctor of chiropractic program,” he says in a release.

The new facility will be the only clinic open to the public. It's scheduled to open Sept. 1. As well as providing care for the Tampa Bay residents, the clinic will provide 20 new student internship opportunities.
