The Omnia Group, a Tampa-based consulting firm that focuses on talent evaluation and retention, has named Valerie Harwell president and CEO.
Harwell comes to the company after having served as CEO of her own consulting practice. She also has 24 years experience running Wachovia Insurance Services' Florida region, which grew from 110 to 200 employees under her leadership.
“Her track record of achieving success through hiring and retaining the best people is exactly the message we want to convey to our employees and clients alike,” explained Omnia Chairman and co-founder Heather Caswell in a release.
The Omnia Group, a finalist for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year award in 2006, has been in business since its founding in 1985.
