Golf Life, John R. Wood Properties form partnership

Two Naples firms plan to combine, add 500 agents.

Golf Life Navigators has selected Naples-based John R. Wood Properties to manage its Florida operations.

The new partnership with the luxury-focused real estate brokerage will add 500 agents to the Golf Life Navigators team and create the largest golf and real estate network in the U.S., the companies say.

The deal also gives John R. Wood access to Golf Life's ProGuide, an online “client service mechanism and lead generation tool.”

“John R. Wood Properties embodies like minded values and ethics that Golf Life Navigators and the Professional Golfers Association of America both share,” says Jason Becker, Golf Life's CEO and co-founder.

“We could not be more proud about pairing the state's best real estate experts with our stable of knowledgeable PGA professionals, on behalf of our growing number of clients seeking the ultimate Florida golf lifestyle.”

Founded in 1974, Naples-based Golf Life identifies golf club opportunities for clients seeking to relocate or retire to Florida.

“We want to take the guesswork out of Florida relocation and ensure our clients are perfectly yoked with the right community, club and home,” says Lynn Josephson, Golf Life's co-founder, a company vice president and a 40-plus-year PGA member.

“This new partnership is a win-win scenario for all parties involved, especially clients seeking professionally tailored advice on club memberships and who are seeking a real estate brokerage with a sterling legacy of satisfied clients.”

John R. Wood, founded in 1958, will focus on helping Golf Life clients find primary or secondary residences in gated golf and non-golf communities.
