NAPLES -- Glenn Beck will host the first event in 2012 for the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series.
Beck will appear Jan. 7 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, alongside Eric Metaxas, author of "Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy," which appeared on The New York Times' best-selling list in September.
Other speakers set to appear at this year's Town Hall series include Andrew Weil, magician David Blaine, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
The Naples Town Hall Speaker Series has been operating since 1983, making this year its 29th season. Past speakers include several former U.S. presidents, including George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, and George W. Bush; media personalities such as Sam Donaldson, Tim Russert and Cokie Roberts; and such global leaders as Benazir Bhutto and Shimon Peres.
