NAPLES — Bonita Springs-based club builder Gates Construction has begun work on the new amenities center at The Dunes of Naples. The project includes complete demolition of the existing clubhouse followed by construction of a two-story, 25,857-square-foot amenities center.

The new facility will feature a covered outdoor dining area, a private dining room for special occasions, a dedicated indoor dining area and a bar that will include indoor and outdoor seating. The club room will be a flexible indoor/outdoor space with food service and will host events. The new kitchen will be larger than its predecessor.

The wellness/fitness center will include the latest workout equipment, two group exercise/yoga rooms, two small rooms for massage/physical therapy, tennis office and pro shop. Expanded seating will surround the lagoon pool including conversation areas around fire tables and an expanded tiki bar.

Design services are provided by Lotus Architecture of Naples.
