Garrison group starts Alafia project
Garrison Developer Group of Florida has started construction on The Preserve at Alafia, a Riverview development with 351 waterfront apartments. The project will also feature a clubhouse, docks, fitness facilities, business center, Cyber Cafe, demo kitchen for cooking classes, theater room, pool, spas and volleyball court.
With views of the Alafia River, Tampa Bay and an 80-acre nature preserve, the five-story apartment buildings at The Preserve at Alafia are only the first phase of a $100-million multi-use development.
Alafia Crossing, a commercial phase of the project, will feature retail space, an office complex, restaurants and a full-service Holiday Inn. Already 55% of the commercial leases in the project are committed.
Completion of the entire project is expected in the summer of 2011.
Garrison Developer Group of Florida specializes in land acquisition, real estate development and management and architectural design and engineering. The company recently developed The Garrison at 600 Garrison Cove Lane, a 12-story, luxury condominium building on Harbour Island, facing downtown Tampa.
