NAPLES — Robb & Stucky International is holding a groundbreaking ceremony today for the construction of a 60,000-square-foot furniture store in Naples.

Robb & Stucky, which was acquired by Taiwanese entrepreneur Samuel Kuo in bankruptcy court last year, will build the store on U.S. 41 one block north of upscale Fifth Avenue South in Naples. The company paid $3.8 million for the land on which it plans to build its second store (the first store is located in Fort Myers.)

Kuo is also the founder and chairman of Samson Holdings, a separate publicly traded company that is one of the top three largest furniture manufacturers in Asia and among the top 10 furniture wholesalers in the U.S.
