TRINITY — For a fourth consecutive year, James Brosious, chairman and owner of FreightCenter Inc., a freight service provider, aims to double the company's annual revenue.

The strategy has worked so well to date that FreightCenter is moving from Trinity to a bigger office in the Highland Lakes area of Palm Harbor, in northern Pinellas County. The move, scheduled for early 2013, is expected to triple the company's office space and allow for the addition of 60 new employees, according to a company statement.

FreightCenter is already soliciting resumes for the new positions, says HR Manager Tiffany Brown, in the release. “We are outgrowing our current location in Pasco and the new office space will accommodate our existing staff, as well as make room for dozens of new account managers,” says Brown.

The new space accommodates up to 170 staff members and will allow for further company growth, says Brown. Some new hires will begin work and training at the facility in Trinity, and transfer to the new offices in Palm Harbor.

FreightCenter operates the website FreightCenter.com and develops Web-based tools for individuals and businesses, including carrier rates and services, as well as other transportation management software.

FreightCenter CEO and co-founder Matthew Brosious recently received an award from the Transportation Intermediaries Association, a group for logistics firms, for service to the community. The company participates in a number of charitable projects and fundraising efforts.
