A portion of the former Doctors Hospital site in Sarasota has come on the market for $10 million, one of the largest Gulf Coast listings currently in the CoStar Group's online database.
The Bahia Vista Professional Center, on 8.7 acres at 2750 Bahia Vista St., contains 86,000 square feet of office and medical office space, together with a 455-space parking garage.
The property, owned by a partnership comprising investors Elita Kane and Kalin Financial LLC, was built in 1977. It is currently 60% occupied by Sarasota Orthopedic Associates, the Visiting Nurses Association and others. Rents average $10 per square foot on a triple net basis.
“Someone with a long-term redevelopment plan could turn this into something really special,” says Brian Seidel, an American Property Group of Sarasota agent who is marketing the property.
“The site has a lot of potential.”
