Restaurant chain names three new executives

Matthew Eisenacher is First Watch's new senior vice president of brand strategy and innovation.

First Watch appointed three new senior executives to its leadership team: Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy and Innovation Matthew Eisenacher, Senior Vice President of Information Technology Rob Conti and Senior Vice President and Treasurer Calum Middleton. 

Eisenacher joins First Watch in a newly created role, according to a statement, overseeing all marketing and communications. Previously, he spent five years with Columbus, Ohio-based Piada Italian Street Food. Most recently, he was the company's chief concept officer, responsible for marketing, branding, catering and technology.

Conti will oversee all technology strategy, innovation, execution and support, the release states Before coming to First Watch, he worked in restaurant operations and information technology at Cisco, Hard Rock International and Disney. 

Middleton started at First Watch in 2015 as the director of financial planning and analysis. He progressed through the ranks to the newly created senior vice president and treasurer position, the release states. In his new role he will oversee a team of financial and real estate analysts and manages relationships with the company’s financial partners. 

“We recognize that in order to successfully achieve our planned long-term growth, we need experienced industry veterans who understands our mission, believe in our vision and whose values match those of First Watch,” says First Watch President and CEO Chris Tomasso in the statement. 

University Park-based First Watch specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch. The company has more than 360 restaurants in 32 states, including more than 300 First Watch restaurants and 55 The Egg & I restaurants and one Sun & Fork restaurant.
