SARASOTA -- Protocol Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Pennsylvania-based NCO Group Inc., will hire 400 workers from the Sarasota labor market to staff its Protocol Customer Management Contact Center.
A release from the company said “most” of the 400 hires would be connected to full-time positions. In addition to customer care associates, PGS will hire team management staff, as well as trainers and other program specialists. The new employees will be based at PGS' facility at 2805 Fruitville Road.
The hiring boost is the result of PGS' acquiring a new client, the release says.
PGS' parent company NCO Group operates more than 100 business process outsourcing facilities across the globe, with a primary focus on customer relationship management and accounts receivable management. Hoover's estimates the company had nearly 33,000 employees in 2009.
