INDIAN ROCKS BEACH — Taylor Morrison, the largest homebuilder in the country based on revenues, continues to expand its presence on the Gulf Coast.

The company's latest project, according to a press release, will be a waterfront community in Indian Rocks Beach in Pinellas County. The high-end gated housing community will have beach access across the street, the company says, and will also have direct boating access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Development at the community, made up of maintenance-free townhomes, is expected to begin next year.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Taylor Morrison is expanding in other ways in the region. It recently announced plans to build two new golf courses, one in Naples and one east Manatee County.
