Executive takes new spot on airport board

NAPLES — Kerry Dustin, a finance and mergers and acquisitions executive, has been named to the Naples Airport Authority board.

The Naples City Council appointed Dustin to the position, according to a statement. The board is comprised of five citizen volunteers who are appointed to four-year terms to govern the airport authority, which oversees the Naples Municipal Airport.

Dustin has more than 40 years' experience buying and selling businesses and structuring financing for acquisitions in the United States, Europe, Mexico and South America, the release states. He's a former chairman, president and board member of Imap, a global partnership of the world´s leading independent merger and acquisition advisory firms. He's also a longtime member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Dustin has lived in Naples for 20 years.
