TAMPA — On Thursday, Hillsborough Community College will host a Made in Tampa Bay Expo, an event that will showcase products made in the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater metro areas.

The free expo will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at HCC's Dale Mabry campus. According to a press release, the event will offer attendees the chance to discover local manufacturers, find out how the products are made and what they contribute to the economy.

According to the Bay Area Manufacturers Association, BAMA, manufacturing provides jobs for some 60,000 people in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties.

BAMA, Environmental Engineering Consultants and Hillsborough County are sponsoring the expo.
